Griffin Lake State Park
There is a Griffin Lake State Park on the way to Leesburg. I have only seen it but on the map it is on a large lake. Google state parks and I am sure you would find info. It is about 15-20 mins from me and I am in the South Western part of the Villages. I am sure they would have trails etc.
