That's a good idea, though in my bathroom, I'm not sure that the fan alone works effectively to remove excess moisture.
The same grout cleaning professional said if we couldn't put in a ceiling fan, then use a small fan to blow air into the shower to help dry it out.
Our shower grout got so bad that even professionals couldn't get it truly back to white. We've since had the entire shower redone in Jettastone, a solid surface material. It was installed by Wildwood Kitchens and Baths...and we love it. No grout to worry about, shower is easy to "wipe down" with a window squeege (sp?) and the lighter color we selected helps lighten up the shower area.
