Tom and Golf-Tinker - kudos to you both for "taking the plunge" and getting into swimming. Its a great sport - good for the body and good aerobics. I too took lessons from Dianne, and she's the best. I went from being a complete non-swimmer to doing pretty well at lap swimming. She is very good at helping people get over their fear of the water. And with the pools being heated in the winter, its a sport you can do year-round. Good luck!
