Still this is an interesting thread because I was planning on riding a bike when I move to TV and expected to ride on the cart paths. I'm strictly a Mary Poppins type with a little folding bicycle and a basket full of cookies. I don't know if I would feel comfortable on the regular roads, especially the roundabouts. Something to think about.

I like your Mary Poppins riding style. We're with you, no basket though. We mainly ride through the neighborhood streets. It's a toss up which is safer to us, riding the main roads or the paths?
