Happy to report we rec'd no damage from Irene. Very heavy rains, probably the hardest I've ever seen it rain, but no trees came down nor did we lose power!!!!! Still a little windy as I write this but we know it's on it's way further North. Some of the areas around us are without power which started last night after midnight and I'm sure there is major beach erosion but all in all I think the Jersey Shore escaped major destruction.
