Not quite the same things. Apples and Oranges. The Brits want to directly attempt to engineer the earth's environment and the consequences be damned.
You're referring to more ecologically primitive societies not caring if they "urinate in their drinking water", so to speak. Not quite the same thing.
Whatever the Brits are doing may end up affecting the vast farmlands of China also. This is what I'm asking you to think about.
