Nope, not a full moon, just the way society works. People who are convicted of crimes and serve their sentences should be free to pursue their lives. They have paid the price for their actions. To limit their employment opportunities is adding an additional punishment beyond what is proscribed by our laws. That's not the way the system works.
Do I abhor what he did? Absolutely. But he paid the price both through the courts and from his employer and the NFL. By all accounts he has turned his life around. His new contract and position as starter reflect the progress he has made.
And no, I'm not an Eagles fan.
