While he wouldn't get money from the GOP national committee, my guess is that that money would flood in. I know I'd make a contribution. Then he wouldn't be beholden to the various powerful factions in the GOP. That would be a very good thing, I think.

According to the story he's being courted by Republican donors, fundraisers and billionaires to enter the Republican primary.

Any Republican would be a fool, IMHO, to run as a third party candidate and Gov. Christie is no fool.
