Guess I'm a little dense, but I didn't take your post as argumentative. I just thought you were asking for backup which is ok by me. Thanks for your consideration even so. As for the 20 mph thingy, some have listed the Florida Statute in some other threads which govern the speed. (Correction, too: It was not a sheriff's deputy I quoted at the clinic, but was the Lady Lake Chief of Police. I did get the quote right and that's only because it made such an impression on me at the time.) To be honest, I think a good deal (if not most) of the safety lies with the driver of said cart regardless of the speed.

Like you, I'm just glad we have the option to drive the carts most everywhere, period. What a neat way to live!
