This brought back some memories. My Brother-In-Laws brother was a retired
test pilot and after retirement went to work for Air Force security in Dayton. Many years ago (over 25) we were playing golf together and I asked him if he could tell me a secret that had not been released to the public yet and he said that Russia had (at that time) the ability to shoot down our satalites in orbit while we did not have the same ability. Of course that has since changed. He also said there was tremendous waste in USA Intellegence gatherings. That the Air Force had it's orgianiation, the Army had theirs, the Navy had theirs + general USA security organizations,(e.g. CIA, etc.). All were collecting intellegence information, duplicating files, duplicating resources, etc. The amount of waste was astounding. !
