I'm just an observer who visited The Villages about 6 weeks ago and bought a piece of land to build on in the spring. I have to say I was dumbfounded when I read the speed limit was 20 because people were doing about 30-40. I commented to my husband about how fast people were driving and it seemed dangerous with all of the traffic and golf carts. I really do hope people will slow down. Everyone is retired, what's the hurry? Save a life....it may be yours.
