of it here if it is of no value.

Happinow, we are from the suburbs of Rochester. When our children were small we used to motor home in Lake George, beautiful area. Now we are ready to have new adventures in The Villages.

If you are from the north then we are really from the north! I should say we are from the Adirondacks. You are correct, it is really beautiful there. We just couldn't handle the winters any more.

Hello! My husband says I should say "northern" NY! We are from north of Syracuse, near the St Lawrence River. We have wonderful memories of camping near Lake George, and taking the kids on the boat tour. It is a beautiful area.

Was meant to be humourous only, people sometimes read too much into posts and get all riled up. When conversations go that way, I just check out...not worth persuing.

Hi. We are not in TV yet. We will be there in May. Don't start building until Feb. My husband just wants something to cruise around in that looks good. He's a tinkerer at heart but doesn't want to get into any engine or body work. I think he just likes to polish it! We will go to some car shows when we get there. Thanks for the info.

There are many old cars in The Villages. The issue here naturally becomes garage space deepening on home selection and affordability. Time and patience will prevail if looking for older Corvette. While the market has been down the prices remain $40,000 to 100,000.

Mine which I pick up today from storage in Leesburg is a 66 silver pearl only has 39000 miles on car but while the engine is correct it is not original. It gives me something to tinker with and have fun.
I have a newer Corvette as well so the Family car sits in the Drive at my house.. Are you in The Villages yet? Many Corvettes mostly new but I have seen 1954-2011 and they have at least one large car show each month.
