Mid-Florida Eye has PCP with great opthalmologists but I was told their optometrists weren't in the PCP network. There is a place in Ocala that's in the network. At the time of my inquiry Lange was the preferred location in The Villages. This puts a different wrinkly in the mix. Anyone know of other options that we might not know about????

The optometrist at Walmart on 441 in Summerfield is with Preferred Care Providers. Had the appointment with him and he then referred to Florida Retina Institute for a specialist in diabetic retinopathy. I would think he could do a referral for you to Mid-Florida Eye. Worth a phone call to Walmart to inquire.
