First of all found out PCP requires a person to see an optometrist first...THEN you get referred to an opthalmologist "IF" you have "issues". Mid-Florida Eye has PCP with great opthalmologists but I was told their optometrists weren't in the PCP network. There is a place in Ocala that's in the network. At the time of my inquiry Lange was the preferred location in The Villages. This puts a different wrinkly in the mix. Anyone know of other options that we might not know about????

I just called Preferred Care Partners. If you have a DX ie Glaucoma, your primary care physician will give you a referral to an opthomologist.
