I have something I consider suspicious that I'd like to check out. A man who represented himself as a Court Official has left a card with a cell number on our door asking that someone immediately return his call. When called on his cell phone, he is evasive about what he wants. He acts very unprofessional. He asks when you'll be home so he can drop by and discuss something. I requested specific information, he said he'd call back, and he didn't. He has not returned subsequent calls.

I think it is a scam to see who is in residence and returns his call quickly, and who is out of town.

I'm not sure if I should be calling Crimes against Seniors or the Sumter Police Department. Any ideas, or telephone numbers of who to call? Or am I just being paranoid?
