I often wonder why they have columns from other developments nearby to tell what Stonecrest is doing etc. And also have pictures and stories sometimes about interesting things in other developments. I sure can't figure out those Republican Morses. It doesn't look like they are afraid of the competition.
I have to think when people have a beef about the Sun that the politics gets under their skin. It is an alright little rag for a town of our size if you ask me. I am satisfied.

I disagree. The Daily Sun is NOT just to sell houses. The Daily Sun has definitely improved since I first started getting it in 2001. Section A covers all of the world, state and local news. Sometimes the coverage is better than the Orlando Sentinel and The Ocala Star Banner. Other times not as detailed as the two mentioned papers. B covers the sports and even includes the late games that the Sentinel does not carry. C and D are for the Villages news. Covering the other communities around here helps sell papers. You do not have to read about the other communities - or you can to see what they are doing.
Compared to the local paper from where I am from, theDaily Sun is a very well writen and has a lot of information.
In a lot of areas when something happens on a Saturday or a Sunday it does not make the paper. Apparently the reporters take the weekend off.
As a disclaimer, I do not and have never worked for the Daily Sun.
I just like the paper.
