She did give me a quote without the sink-hole coverage with another company and it was less than the previous 2011 premium with ASI. I really don't think I should not have the sinkhole coverage. I guess I'll be looking with other agencies. I have heard nothing but good things about ASI, especially when the tornado hit south of 466 in 2007. I hate when they pull this crap! Even with the increase it is far cheaper than I was paying up north 12 years ago on a comparably priced home. Don't they know I have better things to do than look for insurance. I have priorities you know!

We were told by our insurance agent months ago that our insurance would go up because of the increase in sink hole payouts. If you have heard only good things about ASI why are you wasting time trying to find an agency that may cost a little less up front and risk having a good plan that you know will pay? Even with the increase, isn't it about $300 more? We all waste that much pretty quickly. I bet you don't blink at a $50 dinner check and insurance is much more important. It is about a dollar a day increase. Is that really worth your time and effort to find an inferior plan?
