$1000 deductible..you will find alot of policies with a minumun of 2% wind (Hurricane) damage and that would be anywhere from $4000-5000 deductible. I have seen Sinkhole coverage with 10% deductibles..and in the furture that may become more of the standard.....and these deductibles do not necessarily bring lower (expected) costs!

WE all should have Sinkhole coverage and hopefully never use it so the high deductible would not impact us BUT we all need wind or Hurricane coverage......that one is only a matter of time.
