I do think my lynx-point Siamese mix is jealous of Cassie, the new tortie. Our house has the split floor plan and Cassie has taken over the main part of the house & is free to go out on the lanai while my cat stays with me in the other side of the house. She's with me in the front bedroom most of the time, where I have my tv & computer, or she's sleeping on my bed. She used to roam the house freely. I've been wanting to get a cat perch but they're sooo expensive! I just might have to break down & buy one if that would help keep Cassie with us. Any good carpenters out there?

A few weeks ago we purchased and put together a cat condo through Amazon.com. This item (shown below) is on sale for $89.99 currently where the list price is $284. We were able to assembly it easily and no additional tools were needed. Earlier today Bill & Brillo were over for a visit and one of our kitties put on a show for them by climbing up and playing with the two hanging mice toys shown in the photo below.
