shcisamax.... not sure where the notion of summer kitchen grills only lasting 2 years is coming from. All of the summer kitchens I've seen are built under a roof with at least 2 walls around them so they are pretty well protected from the elements. I don't have one, but, my neighbors is 5+ years old and no problems yet. These are high quality products.
I recall someone saying their standard WalMart/Home Depot standalone grills wearing out ... and, yes that can be a problem if they sit outside a lanai and are exposed to the elements.
It would be good to hear from someone who has had a Villages-built summer kitchen for 10+ years....
