Like your post Skip. I had to educate my neighbor in CT in a similar way. My home is on a cul-de-sac with a large frontage and it also has a town right-of-way to open space that I maintain by cutting the grass. My neighbor would literally power walk down her driveway and across the street to my yard to take care of business with her dog. They catch on quickly
I do not condone this behavior, but a friend of mine told me that during his rebellious youth, he would package up the little suprise in a little brown paper bag and bring it back to the owner's home and place it on the sidewalk leading up to his front door. Light it on fire and ring the doorbell and quickly walk away and watch with delight as the owner came out to stomp out the fire!!
