Prior to happily becoming Villagers in 2009, we took our two dogs for walks alongside wooded areas. We always picked up after them, but didn't have to worry about where they urinated. When we moved here we had to make some changes. After their meals, we brought them in OUR yard to do their business, and THEN we'd go for walks in the street to a common area. They were only allowed to "mark" in common areas and if they had to "go" before we got home it was in common areas or curbside only.

We all learned quickly how to not leave residue on and/or yellow out anybody's lawn but our own. (No hardship for the dogs but a little more work for us if we don't pick up our yard every day)

Is there any reason why this wouldn't work for everyone?
