I was a bit surprised at the intolerance and bickering of some, but understand they work hard to keep their yards looking nice. I asked myself if I wanted to join a community like that, but realize there are many, many people all with differing opinions. Pets are a wonderful part of our families, and one has to be committed to taking care of them responsibly, seeing to their needs, and reaping all the rewards they have to offer. No matter what the species! Infringing on your neighbors is never a good thing, be it pets or children or even oneself!
So I will come to TV in May with no preconceived notions and decide if this is indeed as nice as I have heard it to be! I look forward to my visit and experiencing all your communities have to offer!
Please don't let this thread detour you from coming down to TV. We really are a dog friendly community. Most of the dog owners are responsible.

Most of our neighbors have dogs as do we, and I for one have never seen anyone not pick up after their dog or let their dog run the yards.

However, on the rare occasions that a dog does pee on someone's lawn... The whole yard turns brown and the plants shrivel up and die!
