I played Golden Hills Golf Course in Ocala last week and they had no markers except for out of bounds. My Callaway/Nikon laser gun came in real handy. That course is loaded with trees (designed by Reese Jones) and they're not palm trees, big oak trees and loads of sand traps. It's real nice to know the distance not just to the hole but to bunkers and other objects which a laser will tell you. You can take a measurement in about ten seconds and you'll find out those 150 yard markers can be quite a bit off depending on the placement of the pin.
