I did try it once, in France, and honestly, i did not like it. It was too tough. Would not do it again.
I live near The New Forest, our first National Park in England. We have wild ponies here, a very special breedm small and quite lovely to look at. Every autumn the verderers sell of the young, and not so young. French & Spanish butchers are the only folks who buy.
Then we get the Brits who buy them for pets. I prefer the latter.
