My medicare advantage plan is: Optimum Gold Rewards Plan
Being a health nut, I enjoy near perfect health so the deciding factor was: They refund nearly all of my medicare premium every month. I take that as a reward for taking good care of my health, although, less healthy people get the same refund of their premium.
Primary care office visit: $0 copayment
Specialty office visit: $25 copayment
Out of network: 30%
So far, I like my primary care doctor. I had an issue with a toe nail and he made the arrangements for me to see a foot doctor. I could have done it myself but he offered to do it and he picked a good foot doctor. Everything worked out fine.
Then I got a thorn in the palm of my hand and I couldn't get it out because I couldn't see it. I went to my doctor and he couldn't see it either. (It had been bothering me for over a month.) Inspite of not being able to see it, he got it out! He made a small incision and squeezed out some blood. He said, "hopefully, the sliver came out with the blood". Well, it must have because it never bothered me again.
