Your earlier post indicated you were looking for "better options" for glue:

"And honestly, CMANN, I think you will find there are far better options for glue."
"Please share with us your "far better options."

If what you really meant to say was you wanted to know how to handle the over abundance of horses, then we can discuss that.

If you want an answer to the "overabundance", as a rule, Americans do not breed for the high standards that the EU does so a significant amount of horses "don't cut it". We have every Tom, Dick, and Harry breeding low quality horses.

Secondly, the AQHA is the largest contributor to the slaughter pipeline. They essentially run a pyramid scheme with the registration fees and at the end of the day mares are pushing out foal after foal. Without slaughter, they have no way to absorb the population and keep those fees coming. If the slaughter option is taken off the table, a responsible business model will have to be put in place rather than using slaughter as the garbage can and horses as disposable cups. The registration fees will be cut significantly.

As long as slaughter for horses exists, there will be no changes in the way the horse industry operates...the overbreeding will continue..like puppy mills. As long as slaughter exits, the quantity of horses will continue to push value down. As long as slaughter exists, the horse industry will not recover.
