Sounds exciting, Trish! I bet his mom and dad will love it there...and your friends too!
We are looking at similar situation with my inlaws (both in late 80s). We can't move there as long as they need us, and for couple of years now we have been trying to convince them that we should all load up and move to TV. No luck so far though. One minute MIL is excited and agrees...the next she is totally against the idea of moving anywhere! We even suggested getting them a cottage home so they would not feel like they were losing their independence but that didn't help.
