The best thing I have found to do is to call the tee time office at 750-4558 if the weather is bad. They know if there are any cancelled courses. I did so today. We have a tee time for Hawkes Bay tomorrow and I was told it is one of 7 which are closed. Usually, even if you believe the weather is too bad to play, not like it has been this week, if you check in and then leave you will only get a point. If you call and cancel you get 2 points. And if you just don't show up I believe you get 3 points. In any case, the points roll off seven days after you have accumulated that point or points.
