We had a screened in porch. My dad would take the chaise, my Mom the vinyl "couch" and I got to put some pillows on the floor! It was heaven!!
FYI- I was married in Winnetka, IL in August. No AC in church, and my reception was in an old mansion in the ballroom. Also not air conditioned. The outdoor temp on that day was 102... They had a swamp cooler in the ballroom though and it helped. I did feel so sorry for the band....
