The problem I am having right now is blisters..on the pads of both thumbs. Once the lessons start (on the 17th) I'm sure the instructor will help me but I'm just wondering if this is common or am I holding the club totally wrong. Steve got me some gloves (would I always need to wear them?) and some really cool shoes . While at the pro shop I discovered a whole new wardrobe world..another reason to take up golf!! If all works out, we'll be able to actually play when we get there.
I'm sure your instructor will advise you on the grip and you "DO" want to hit the ground right after you hit the ball you should be taking a divot.
