The tag line comes from the Beatles' song, When I Get Home. I remember being in the 7th grade and seeing the lyrics in some magazine. I showed them to a friend of mine and he said, "That can't be right. Who would use the word trivialities in a rock song". It stuck with me and I just like the phrase.
Like I said, I really don't care about the $.59. It's just that I'm not going to give my business to someone who is so petty as to risk losing customers by charging for a condiment. I also think that $2.00 for a topping is very high.
A pizza with two toppings and two soft drinks for myself and my wife came to $25.00 with tax and tip. Twenty five bucks for mediocre pizza is way out of line.
