I was surprised to learn these past few years HOW MANY young parents of newborns, toddlers, etc. totally agree with him on immunization for infants, etc.............meaning DO NOT immunize for fear of autism or what have you.
I'm not talking backwoods uneducated folks, but highly educated, multiple degrees, well read, well spoken generation of young parents who are afraid of immunizing their babies..........whereas we just did what was expected in the 1960's and 1970's.......without doing any research into it one way or another.
My son was the generation when they STOPPED giving the smallpox shots. Our first child did get that innoculation; he did not. At the time, other young moms, myself included, wondered if someday when those little boys grew up to adulthood..........and a smallpox epidemic came about , would they be all wiped out? However, we did not "rock the boat".....
It's interesting to hear the different viewpoints of young parents today vs when we raised our children..........
