You really cannot just ignore all the history of the US in which blacks were discriminated against in many ways and before that held as slaves.

This could actually give hope to many people who are struggling in the poorer sections of our urban areas.

This is not about leveling the playing field because the Civil Rights Act 1965 did that as well as the plethora of Affirmtive Action Programs that still exist today already accomplished that goal. This is all about retribution with the support of Obama. Holder, members of the Black Cacus, various Liberal Groups around the country and well meaning liberals who just are naive enough or perhaps have so called "white guilt" to buy into this line of ( I don't swear) so I'll say bupkus
