We are also new to Fernandina and located at 1420 Bokeelia Pl. We closed the last week of July after only visiting one other time in early June this year. We bought a Patio Villa that was furnished by the Villages design group. I have just under 2 years before moving in full time but plan to get back as often as possible. In the mean time we will rent it out to help offset some of the costs. We'll be coming in from Pennsylvania but both of us are really from Jersey. Let us know when they finish the rec center at the end of the block.
