Very few movies are realistic that I have seen. Once in a while one is very realistic but then it is a pain to watch. Doubt if many screening groups like endings that are not uplifting in some way.

There are some movies that are realistic but very good. The Godfather; The Godfather II; Juno; Spider-Man 2; Girl, Interrupted; The Changling; Platoon; Patton; The Hurt Locker; As Good As It Gets, etc.
