The restaurants here do a decent job of providing what I think most people want. They want it fast, they want it cheap and they want lots of it. Add to that they are catering to diverse palates from across the country-not an easy job.

What I think it comes down to is the difference between eating and dining. The difference between a chef in the kitchen or a cook assembling meals. I don't think people here go out to dine, they go out to socialize and eat. I personally don't like onion powder, garlic powder and canned gravy, but I can always find something on the menu.

I happen to think Sakura is excellent and love Twojay's for my deli fix.
