It says to raise the blades this time of year (which my mowing guys disputes) to promote deeper root growth in the winter months but when I dug further into their website to determine the normal recommended height from which to raise the blades it says the mowing height for zoysia is 1"-2" which would be disasterous for our lawns. So maybe I'll talk to the Extension Coop folks. Thanks for your help.

I cut my own. Summer 1 3/4", winter 2". Works for me
