That new 20mph unless posted impacts very few roads within The Villages in Sumter County. There was a POA meeting where this issue was addressed and if I remember only 11 roads were truly impacted. There are posted limits in most areas, including neighborhoods where limits could be 15mph. That's the speed limit within our neighborhood. It was a lot of upset by individuals who didn't really understand what the signs said. Being a good driver means that attention is paid to all posted speed limit signs. People are not necessarily crawling around at slow speeds here in our community.
