I don't know if you missed something, but I did touch on the possible how of it in subsequent posts.

At this point though, I'm all but convinced that the slashes occurred in the unpacking of the tires at the dealership where they didn't realize it occurred, and that the slashes were not all the way through at the time, but over time worked themselves open enough to start leaking air. Also where someone else suggested it might be a coverup by the dealer, I say that I don't think for a second that their was a coverup of any kind.
