We have returned from Ohio and when we came we brought back a cooler with several packages of Goetta, a breakfast meat similar to Scrapple, (but BETTER

) Several cans of Cincinnati chili, and several cans of Worthmore Mock Turtle Soup. ( This soup has NOTHING in it of turtle), but rather ground beef and vegetables that just is so yummy on a cold evening here with a good sandwich) I just found out that the people who own the Worthmore Soup Company in Cincinnati have wintered here in The Villages for years.
Does anyone know them? I don't think their last name is Worthmore and I am guessing they must be in their eighties. I would love to meet them and shake their hands and try to finagle the recipe. It is yummy soup.
Anyway, when you go back to the place of your childhood, what do you bring back that you cannot get here???
