I saw Lincoln also and liked it very much. I'm glad to hear that because I was afraid that it might be one of those revisionist type movies that Hollywood often produces. I've already heard from people of a certain political philosophy that Lincoln wasn't really in favor of freeing the slaves and that he did it only for political reasons and all sorts of other nonsense. Some people just want to find anything they can to tear this country down and turn all the great things we have done into negatives. Unfortunately,there is a lot of hate out there.
