Obviously, if LSVs save energy, then so do golf carts and it begs the question as to why buying a golf cart did not result in a tax credit. But that's a whole other discussion (who ever said the government makes logical tax laws?)

I understand and appreciate your point of view. However consider that these folks would have purchased an electric golf cart without th tax credit. and again remeber that GM bought 10,000 electric carts and stored them in a warehouse. so i doubt saving energy wasn't their goal.
Taxpayer got ripped off with this program much to my chagrin
