Hi Redwitch, nice to hear from you. You did very well, on the first half. But here are the other 6 answers for anyone who is interested:
5. Why did Jack Webb's delivery sound so stiff on Dragnet? Be danged if I know -- cotton in the mouth?
Webb never bothered to learn his lines, and read them all off of cue cards. Now there is a dedicated actor
6. What was Ozzie's job on Ozzie and Harriet? band leader?
Trick question. To my knowledge, no one ever said that he worked...good thing, he was pretty laid back.
7. In what city was "The Life and Times of Wyatt Earp" set? What was his job? What was wrong with saying he had that job? Dodge City -- there was even a reference or two to the Longbranch (but not Marshall Dillon or Miss Kitty) believe he was a marshall (at least he was in real life), definitely a lawman ???
It was set in Wichita. While Wyatt Earp worked there as essentially a street policeman for about a year, he was never anything higher. It's really weird because there were many factual things that only someone from there would know. They've just stared running these and in one episdoe I watched, they got the name of the newspaper, publisher, doctor and other things correct.
Earp was never Marshal of Dodge either, but was a deputy there later.
8. Who was Quick Draw McGraw's sidekick? Daws something
Someone got this....Bobalouie. Daws Butler did all the voices. He was the Mel Blanc of Hanna Barbera
9. What connection is there between the "Burns and Allen Show" and "The Flintstones?" Nancy Culp (know she played on Burns & Allen but don't remember her role; voice of Betty Rubble)
Bea Benaderet. She played Blanche next door, and she was the voice of Betty Rubble. If you listen, they both have the same silly laugh. Later in life Cousin Pearl on Beverly Hillbillies. And Kate Bradley on Petticoat Junction.
10. On the "Bob Cummings Show", what was his assistant's name? Who played her? no clue
Schultzy, played by Ann B Davis...later Alice in the Brady Bunch.
