I wonder if we should tell our grandchildren that...the ones learning to drive. Knowing the laws and rules of the road is stupid? It doesn't make you a good driver to know the rules and laws but it is a good way to start.
Maybe that is why some drivers consider a stop sign, a suggestion?

I didn't say that. You twisted my words. I said that knowledge of the rules of the road is a stupid way to judge how good drivers are. Knowing the rules and obeying them are two different things. Knowing the rules does not necessarily make for good drivers.
