Thank you for the responses. I am using Windows Mail for my email program. I too believe it is a computer glitch also. All worked as usual until Sunday AM. I had an update come in for Java, which was installed that morning. So, thinking maybe that was an issue, I deleted it. I also ran two different times, the System Restore function, picking different restore dates, and both times the restore action failed and did not finish due to a conflict. I would assume because of the two failures it must be internal and not external.
I am hesitant of using Comcast as my outgoing mail because if it does work, how would the recipient respond because I assume the incoming message would have Comcast and not Windstream as the address?
I will take all the suggestions here and try to find a way........
