but, I forgot to mention that immediate families who live in the 3 county area (Marion, Sumter, Lake) can get special passes to be guests of parents/grandparents/great-grandparents who do live in the Villages. They still can't live here, but they can visit.

Also, let's say you have grandchildren 18 or under who live in Orlando or Tampa. Certainly they can visit you (maybe not technically) more than 30 days; they just can't get guest passes for more than 30 days.
