I was a fascinated lurker for several years, then I began to post "I don't want to ruffle anybody's feathers" type posts, then one lonely night I posted all my "heart and sole" type posts, then I hid for a while and let OleDave post for me, then recently I have posted some "I really have something to say" type posts. But basically, in person, I'm really just a pretty nice person who enjoys good company and good conversation.
So I guess what I asking is - how is one perceived and welcomed - as they are online or as they are in person? Or maybe there is no difference.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I find that when I go to Crispers, I can't remember the online personalities of the posters I meet there. Everyone just goes and has a very cordial, friendly time. So don't worry! Just come and meet and talk to people.
I'm sorry I can't be there this month. Hopefully next month before we go home for the summer.
