The column was very sound and had the OP even quoted or put it in context the meaning changes quite a bit. I surely do not agree with all, but it seems that a discussion of an oped should begin with truthful presentation of said op ed.

Instead of looking for substance, it appears some of the poster just wanted to make personal comments about the authors age and reference to her as a "dingbat"
