IMHO marrying a life long bachelor would be extremely difficult. I have been married 110 years and I'm still working on my other half, cannot imagine what it would be like to marry someone who has never ever had to consider another person.

By the way, I wish them much happiness.
I know a woman pastor who married for the first time at age 50. He had been married before. Although they are both very nice people that marriage lasted six weeks. It can be tough to adapt.

Another lady I know at 58 has never been married. She is very sweet and a wonderful woman but I doubt she could adjust to being married.

I, too, wish them happiness.
